It's the month of august....

No one stops to say “Thank You” anymore.
This line is very disappointing in our present days. It’s very frustrating that no one is courteous enough saying “Thank You” to someone who is offering help or just being thoughtful.
I was reading the text; it seemed that the thoughts in the text are what we’re experiencing now. Yes it’s true that there are only few of thousands who are offering their kindness and thoughtfulness. Only few are saying “Thank You” to the guards who are willing to hand a help in opening a door. No one says thank you to small things that are done for somebody else. Even children do not practice saying that line anymore because even their older sisters or brothers they do not hear that one.
Children emulate what they see.
Yes, it’s true. Children in these days don’t have good values anymore, because they were not trained by their parents. They imitate what they see in the older ones. What they see is what they keep on doing or saying. Even if those things are wrong, they would imitate it, because they do believe that what the older one’s doing is correct and appropriate. And it also depends on how their parents train them. The parents should teach their child how to become a good child. They should train desirable values because these things are very important in their stages of growing. That’s why, we as the older one, we should say correct words and do things that are appropriate and correct in front of them.

Who was Hani?
Hani was a student with an enormous, great, and deep courage on herself. She’s a girl who’s not lucky enough to have beautiful dresses, a girl who was left behind because of her lack of knowledge about the technology.
I just thought that I am very lucky enough compared to Hani. I have my dresses that are comfortable to wear; I have my knowledge how to use computer which is part of technology.
I also thought that if Hani have all the courage, willingness, and trust to herself even if she’s not lucky enough to have the things or experience the things that we’re experiencing now, why not us who have those things. How come others couldn’t have that courage, willingness and trust to themselves although they are very lucky to have the things that Hani doesn’t have.
In my sensible thoughts, I realized that I am lucky to have the things that Hani doesn’t have at all. I should have all the courage to learn, to pursue myself to the attitude that Hani have.
I admire Hani so much because of her huge trust to herself. I should have the courage, determination and trust to myself like what Hani have. I should strive hard like Hani in order to become successful.

July 4, in the evening, I and my joyful board mates gathered in the living room of our boarding house. We gathered because we’ll be watching a movie entitled “Coming Soon”. We were so excited, especially me. Because I like watching horror movies, even I can’t get asleep well after watching.
The movie “Coming Soon” is a horror film. The story was all about a woman who do not like that someone could watch her how she dies. So she keeps on haunting all of the staffs who witness how she dies and also a man who’s very curios about her movie. That woman was an actress. She died because of an accident during the shooting of her movie “Evil Spirit”. She used to pull eyes of those people who witnessed how she died.
We enjoyed very much upon watching that horror movie. The cold wind and the darkness surrounded us while watching give us more thrill. We keep on shouting as the ghost appears on the screen. It was so embarrassing in my part for I am the one who shouts very loud.
After we watched movie, I decided to go to bed because it seemed like it’s very late in the evening. But an hour passed, I still can’t sleep. The face of that woman keeps on playing in my mind. So I prayed and then after a few minutes I fell asleep. Thanks God.
Everybody has their own mission in life. It’s a thing that can satisfy us if we finished that mission. Some of those missions are for family, friends, people around them and especially for self-satisfaction. I believe that if we could finish that mission, we can get our satisfaction and we can say to ourselves that “mission accomplished”.
In my high school days, my mission in life is that when I finish my study in HRM course, I will look for a job abroad and when I’ll have my own savings that’s enough for building my own restaurant, then I’ll go for it. And I want that I will be the chef, even if it seemed like its hard to handle.
But in just one click, my mission had been changed. It turned into taking up BS Biology and if my parents can let me proceed to Medicine I’ll pursue myself to that course, because I want to help people who are sick, especially people around me and special to me. And lastly, I want my parents to be proud of me. In that way I can say it to myself, “mission accomplished”.
